If you are looking for serene beaches in the day and an exciting nightlife , Bali is the place to head to, the next holiday season! For this small yet miraculous island indeed stores a lot of surprises for one and all.

Bali doesn’t have direct flights to –fro India hence it is best advised to either transit to this famous Indonesian Island via the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur or preferably via Singapore. Hubby and I decided to bring in our 3rd Wedding Anniversary in Bali and here we were at the beautiful Denpasar Airport elated and charmed by the not just the serenity of the place and but also the hospitality of its people.

A visit to the Besakih Temple

This is the biggest Hindu temple in Bali which the local people call Pura Besakih. Nestled in the beautiful Ubud, this is a must visit . You cannot enter the temple in casuals and it is mandatory to wear a sarong when visiting here. Better to carry one if this is on your to do list. In case you forget , there are plenty of shops that sell sarongs in various colors and patterns just outside the temple premisis.

As soon as you enter Bali , itgreets you with its sheer natural beauty that exudes harmony and peace. Be it the dramatic dances of the land, its colorful ceremonies, its art and craft or the luxury that that the island withholds, at each step, at every corner, intricately carved temples will greet you in all its splendor and glory. From inspirational spirituality to fine dining and meeting experiences, from world class surfing and diving to exhilarating treks in the wild, Bali has it all…

Shopping in Bali - every woman's delight

Bali is truly a shoppers paradise. Be it silver work, handicraft, art work and paintings, fashion & clothes, furniture and deco items, natural soaps and essences, coffee, cloth....you name it and you buy it. Textiles from around Indonesia, such as batik prints and woven ikat cloth is sold at cheap prices.Silver jewelry in traditional and modern designs is sold at shockingly low prices.

Famous Beaches

Bali has a rich assortment of beaches, each of which is a favorite destination on its own. Bali beaches range from palm-fringed white sand coasts on the island’s south such as Kuta, Nusa Dua and Sanur. It is also a surfers paradise and provides many places for surfers to experience and challenge the sea whilst enjoying a fun vacation.

How about sipping world's most expensive coffee?

Kopi Luwak is the world’s most expensive coffee. The main factor of it’s high price is the uncommon method of producing such a coffee. It has been produced from the coffee beans which have been digested by a certain Indonesian cat-like animal called civet cat.

Bali Night Life

.Nightlife in Bali follows the European model of starting late and running until dawn; however, some clubbers prefer starting off the night with cocktails at sunset. Bali's top nightlife venues and best clubs are mostly spread throughout its southern regions of Kuta, Legian and Seminyak, and several spots around Bukit. The Vi Ai Pi Club at Legian is a favorite of all tourists and locals because of its happy hours that extend till mid night.
